A Founding Partner of Cooper/Haims, Howard earned his BA from SUNY Brockport, his MA from Kent State and his CFP from the College for Financial Planning. He served as an advisor at Centra Financial Group before partnering with Carole Cooper (soon to become Cooper-Haims) to create Cooper/Haims Financial Services, Inc. in 1984. Howard and Carole have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. An avid reader and traveler, Howard stays fit by playing ice hockey and golf.

Best advice I ever received—don’t do anything that you will later regret or be ashamed of.

Best advice I’d offer a teen—work hard and make as many mistakes as you can as long as you learn from them.

My favorite city to visit—Santa Barbara. It’s got great weather, hiking trails, restaurants and coastal wineries.
